Neurotar's team tours in the Zurich area on February 6-8, 2012, and attends Swiss-Scandinavian Bio-Business Seminar
Neurotar shall present at the Swiss-Scandinavian Bio-Business Seminar. CEO and CSO will be available for partnering meetings at the end of the event. Neurotar's new Director of Business Development is based in Hamburg, Germany
We are happy to announce that Dmitri Ossipov, PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology, formerly product and application specialist (confocal and multiphoton laser scanning microscopes) at Olympus Europe Holding GmbH, joined us a Director of Business Development in January of 2012. We hope that Dmitri's deep understanding of our core technology, extensive sales experience and genuine gift for listening would open doors to new clients and partners.
Road show in France on January 18-20, 2012
Thanks to our French consultant, Christine Patoux of Hoffren Consultancy, our three day schedule is filled with meetings in Paris, Strasbourgh and Lillie. Although we can no longer accommodate additional meeting requests, we want to encourage all interested parties to contact us. We would be happy to schedule a TC or a meeting at a closest industry event.
Neurotar completes the second round of investment in November 2011
Neurotar completes the second round of investment and registers 1200 new shares on 28.12.2012. Thanks to our investors for their endorsement of this year's results and their confidence in our future potential! The new investment provides us with operating capital necessary to match the growing demand for our services in 2012-2013.
Neurotar's exhibit at the Society for Neuroscience Annual Meeting in Washington D.C. (12-16.11.2011) attracted dozens of visitors
Neurotar's Chief Operating Officer Dr. Stanislav Khirug and other team members were busy answering the questions concerning our already developed and forthcoming products. One of our latest additions, nerve endings' visualization in rodents skin, topped the list of inquiries. The experiments have high potential for pain research. Neurotar team thanks our German partner, Frost Lifescience, for organizing the tour and putting us in touch with several interested companies. Special thanks to the companies that invited us to meetings. As a result of the meetings in September, Neurotar has already initiated five projects and more is coming soon.

Neurotech Summit proved to be a terrific event for Neurotar. How often do you get to walk into the room full of people, all of whom you want to meet? We went from one meeting to another, which resulted in several customer and cooperation projects currently being carried out or planned. Thanks to the American organizers, especially to Casey Lynch, for bringing Neurotech to Europe. Thanks also to the Greater Helsinki Promotion for helping on the Finnish side. Let's make this happen again!

Neurotar's team, reinforced by our business consultant, Jouko Uusitalo, visited several companies in the Copenhagen area and later in South-West Germany. In Sweden, we had several meetings with Pharma and Biotech companies in the Stockholm area. Thanks to all companies who welcomed us at their facilities!

This year's Bio-Europe Partnering conference in Milan was a blast: 22 one-on-one meetings, 7 new partnerships for Neurotar
Most of the new partnerships are with CROs interested in developing joint service offerings or in co-marketing and co-referral arrangements. The partnerships extend our outreach to the Eastern Coast USA, to Israel, Germany, France and Japan. We have also established contacts to two potential high profile customers. February 2011: Neurotar and Olympus European Microscopy Headquarters agree upon co-marketing of Neurotar's services and of Olympus multi-photon scanning microscopy equipment
We are grateful to Olympus for ongoing support of Neurotar's activities and for the superior quality of Olympus' equipment, which translates into the quality of our services and into the value added to our Clients. When it comes to in vivo microscopy, Olympus remains Neurotar's equipment manufacturer of choice, and we hope to extend our partnership beyond the current co-marketing agreement in the future.

On December 3, 2010, the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation (TEKES) awards funding for Neurotar's R&D project
The Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation announced its decision to fund the first phase of Neurotar's Research & Development project aimed at developing Neurotar's services in the areas of CNS and dermatology. The title of the project, “Beyond the Surface”, points toward our unique capability of seeing details where others see a blurred or incomplete picture. In metaphorical sense, it is meant to describe our close involvement with the Clients' needs. Neurotar was awarded the maximum amount available under the current application, which we consider a sign of trust in our potential and the seal of approval of our work up-to-date.
New setup for in vivo two-photon microscopy is installed in November 2010
Neurotar has upgraded its production capabilities by adding a state-of-the-art two-photon microscope optimized for in vivo imaging tests (by Olympus Europe). Thanks to the Olympus staff for their flexibility and professional support!
Neurotar attends CPhI Worldwide Expo in Paris on October 5-7, 2010
Our more than thirty meetings with prospective Clients and Partners showed that currently there is a particularly strong interest in our skin-related services. This realization motivates us to reconsider our priorities and to plan for such improvements and adjustments to our equipment that make it more suitable for experiments on skin of human subjects.
Neurotar moves into the new office and lab space in Viikki, Helsinki (Finland) on October 1, 2010
In terms of distance, we have simply moved from one building to the other next door. However, in terms of qualitative change, this move has been very significant. Our new premises include a newly renovated and customized laboratory space and an office with a broad window view of the Viikki library. Our engineer is focused on creating the optimal environment for our state-of-the art equipment.
Neurotar completes first round of private financing on August 18, 2010
After approximately half-year long discussions with our long-time friends, foreign private investors, we have received their first round of financing. We are lucky to enjoy a high trust relationship with our investors, who show keen interest in Neurotar's international growth.
Neurotar files an application with TEKES for funding of its R&D project aimed at product development in June 2010
The project is intended to finance the development of three initial service products, and there is an understanding with TEKES that, if successful, “Beyond the Surface. Phase One” will be followed by a second project, encompassing two additional service products.
Neurotar is entered into the Finnish Trade Register on October 8, 2009
