      In a typical imaging setup outfitted with the Mobile HomeCage for imaging in awake mice, the mouse is “facing” the microscope frame. This is not always optimal. For example, it is difficult to provide visual stimuli from outside the cage, such as on a screen or a monitor. The twisted neck kit allows changing the mouse’s orientation in the Mobile HomeCage as is shown below:
